Conservation Detection Dogs.

Conservation Dog Training.

As a breeder, trainer and handler of conservation detection dogs, I know the importance of dog selection, genetics, and a thorough knowledge of dog training is critical in creating a conservation detection dog.

Contact me today if you have a project that requires a flora or fauna detection dog.

The Story of Ada.

Ada, Morekos dasyurus, is a German Shepherd Dog that was the result of a carefully crafted breeding to get the best detection dog, with both parents trained in either detection or tracking.

By 11 months old Ada was certified on Spotted-tailed quoll scat, and she was working on koala projects by 3 years of age.

More recently, Ada has been working on Greater Glider projects in South East QLD, and preparing to pass on the baton to our up-and-coming English Springer Spaniel, Veldjager Stanley, so she can retire and dabble in the sport of Scent Work instead.
